Swap out old shoe boxes, moving boxes, or cardboard file boxes with clear, airtight containers. These work particularly well in garage or basement spaces that tend to be damp or have issues with mold and dust. The airtight seal on these containers will keep your items protected from the elements. These are ideal for storing keepsakes or memorabilia. Make sure the items are dry and clean before being placed in the boxes.
