Organizing is easier when you\u2019ve got the right tools for the job. As a professional organizer with more than two decades of experience, I have a list of tried and true products I\u2019ve recommended and used with clients for years.<\/p>\n

Clear, Airtight Containers<\/h4>\n

Reuse and recycle can apply to many items in your home or office, but when it comes to the best storage containers, any ol\u2019 box won\u2019t do.<\/p>\n

Swap out old shoe boxes, moving boxes, or cardboard file boxes with clear, airtight containers. These work particularly well in garage or basement spaces that tend to be damp or have issues with mold and dust. The airtight seal on these containers will keep your items protected from the elements. These are ideal for storing keepsakes or memorabilia. Make sure the items are dry and clean before being placed in the boxes.
